Academic & Professional Integrity. DetectMyAI is a productivity tool. You are solely responsible for whether and how you use the output in academic, professional, or commercial contexts. Many universities, employers, journals, and licensing bodies prohibit submitting AI-generated or AI-rewritten content as your original work, and no detector — including this one — is a substitute for their policies. Consult the policies of your institution before using Service output in graded, reviewed, or published work. DetectMyAI makes no claim that output is definitive, error-free, admissible, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TJ (Tushar Jaitly) and the operators of DetectMyAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed USD $100 or the amount you paid for the Service in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater (noting that the Service is free).
